The ProofBook System

The EyeC ProofBook is a complete offline inspection system to be used for content verification and sample testing specialised for print media. The ProofBook is capable of digitally comparing printed documents like books, booklets, catalogues or single pages against a customer proof. Significant deviations between inspected documents and the template are identified and are listed in an automatically generated report.

Three easy steps complete the inspection-process:

1. Acquisition of production sample and proof (scanning or loading),

2. Automatic inspection,

3. Automatic generation of the Report.

The ProofBook gives you the confidence of printing and delivering exactly what your customer expects.

The ProofBook hardware consists of a PC, a Monitor, a keyboard with mouse, a scanner as well as all required cables and interfaces. Due to the variety of printing products EyeC GmbH offers a range of flat bed scanners used with an automatic feeder. For further information please contact us.

Multi-page leaflet inspection

and layer addresser

Two innovative tools for the EyeC Proofiler simplify separation of flattened PDF's and automate inspection of multi-page leaflets. Layer addresser enables the user to separate the cutter lines, Braille spot plane, varnish free areas etc in a flattened PDF so that the artwork can be inspected accurately without finding numerous pseudo defects.  For printers of multi-page leaflets the imposition can now be inspected against the multi-page PDF proof - it's simple and fast.
